It's a cupcake kind of day!

Tonight was Beth's stamping party and we had a fun time as usual.  She made some awesome food!  I am totally in love with the grape salad she made and definitely need to get the recipe for it.  It is to die for!  Every thing was yummy....but that was my favorite!
This was one of the projects we made tonight. We used the stamp set Simple Birthday Thanks.  I decided to make a hinged card with it to show them that you could use the set to make a shaped card with it.  It can also be stamped and used on a card front.  Another cute thing to make with it would be to attach a box behind it with a cupcake in it, or you could make a bunch of the cupcakes and string them together like a banner.  Lots of cute things you can do with this baby.  The verse is from the stamp set Birthday Bliss and was stamped twice, once in Melon Mambo and a second time in Bermuda Bay, then mounted on Close to Cocoa card stock.  There are dimensionals behind it so that it pops out and it also holds the top of the cupcake in place.  The cherry was stamped twice, then cut out and adhered to the top of the cupcake.  The one on the outside has crystal effects on it to give it a nice shiny look and the sprinkles are made with the 1/4" circle punch and glued on.  A brad is attached on the left side to make the hinge on the card.
