Hello! Here are some more book marks that I made last week with the stamp sets Dreams DeJour and Just Buzzin By.
This afternoon, I worked on cutting and packaging ribbon to put in the stall. I have a whole bunch of really nice ribbon, and at a wonderful price. Come and check it out!
Tonight was the Yackettes get together and we went to Splash. It was really nice and comfortable eating outside on the deck. A very pleasant, enjoyable evening, catching up with friends!

Just Buzzin By
Here is another card I made with the stamp set Just Buzzin By. The card stock and designer paper are Rose Red. The tabs with the black brads attached to them were made with the word window punch and are folded around to the back. I used the scalloped edge punch to make the scallops at the bottom of the white panel. It is a little hard to see in the photo unless you are looking for it, but the wings of the bee have Dazzling Diamond's glitter on them. Basic Black Grosgrain ribbon finishes things off.

Just Buzzin' By
I think some of most striking cards have black on them some where. I like the contrast a lot on this card of Crushed Curry and Basic Black. It makes a sharp card and Just Buzzin By is a fun set to work with. Every time I show a card with it at stamp camp, someone says I just love those little bee's!
I have been buzzin' around here just like that little bee. I mixed up a pot of chili last night and started it this morning. I have raisin bread in the bread machine and I plan on making banana nut muffin's later. And I have been cleaning. Wouldn't you know the sun would shine bright today and I can see all the dust in here! Actually I am glad we had sunshine and that it is so nice and warm out. All the gloomy days can get a person down. Paul will be here soon and I have the Packer Gamer taping for him. He is doing some work on the big animal abuse case that happened this week before he arrives. I need to run to the store so am going to head out! Have a great day! Elaine

Just Buzzin By and Friends 24/7

Good Evening! These are some cards that we made last month at Sandy Wellumsun's stamping party. They were a big hit, especially the little bee's. The gals loved them. I made up the extra packets I had cut and I have sold all of them. This afternoon, I was working on next month's stamp camp. I finished a couple of project's for it so I am happy about that. I went to Jessie's volley ball game tonight and that was fun to see. She had asked me on Sunday if I was coming and I told her that I would try to. Can't let my girl down and I was glad to be able to spend that hour there tonight. When my girls were in high school, I had some rough years health wise and my back was really bad. When I bought my ticket tonight for the game, I asked if I could bring a chair in because I couldn't sit on the bleachers and the gal said sure, that she wouldn't say anything about it. (It might have helped that I knew her.) As I was sitting there on my chair, before the game started....I was thinking about how far along I had come in accepting my illness and not worrying about what other's thought. I missed so many of the girls events because I was in such terrible pain and was too proud to ask if I could bring a chair in the gym or I was in too much pain to sit, period. I didn't want to embarrass them or myself by "doing such a thing". I was only 34 at the time, way too young to be disabled, and way too young to accept it. It was a hard process, and I am sure glad that I am at a point in my life that I don't care what people think! Make the most of your days....you never know what life has in store for you! Hugs! Boo
