Holiday Gift Packaging Class

This can be used to give a large cookie as a gift or a CD or DVD holder.  The next item is made with the Top Note Die and can be used to package small items as a gift.  The third picture down is a picture of a holiday cracker.  It doesn't "pop", you untwist the ends to open it.  It is a project that takes lots of folding and scoring but well worth the extra work when it is finished!

This project uses the Scalloped Square Die and is perfect for a bottle of perfume, rolo's, candy canes, you name it.  A very fast and cute project.  The gals also received 9 pages of patterns and other inexpensive Holiday Gift Giving Idea's.  They were headed to the store when they left here to buy things to do some of them.  We worked with Christmas music playing and had a great time!

Thoughts and Prayers

Hello!  This card was made with the stamp set "Thoughts and Prayers".  I used Dusty Durango and Soft Suede markers to ink up the tree before I stamped it and stamped the greeting with Soft Suede ink.  The flower is a scrap I punched with the Trio Punch.  It is my most used punch as I can punch out the tiniest of scraps with it.  You should see the drawer full that I have of them!  I used a silver brad as a center for the flower and popped it up with a dimensional.  A small strip of  Dusty Durango is under the tree and a portion of a piece that I cut out with the Top note die is attached under that.  A very nice card for this time of year!

On Your Birthday

Not too much new here.  I had people in  and out picking up orders and Melissa came to visit for a few hours this afternoon.  She dropped me off to pick up the van before she went home.  I parked it over in the parking lot just in case they do decide to pave the road.  They never tell you when you are going to be blocked in so it is best to be prepared!

I made the flower on this card with the Bloom's and Blossom's Die that came in my Big Shot starter kit.  It is sitting on a Top Note Die that was also cut out with the Big Shot.  A quick stamping with a stamp out of the Stampin' UP! Set "On Your Birthday", a quick addition of a few brads and pattern paper, and you have a quick and easy card!  The colors are Rose Red, Barely Banana, and Certainly Celery.

Fifth Ave Floral and Top Note Quilt Card

It was a busy day today. Breezy was here at 9 am to mow my lawn and trim it. It looks wonderful and I can tell already that he is going to be the best person I have ever had to mow my lawn. It looks really nice. I went to library to pick up some books that came in and took the Community Quilters the Thrivent grant check. I then popped into Practical Cents to see if I could find a coffee pot as mine went capootz but no such luck, today they didn't have any. But in the 15 minutes I was in there, I found a brand new, oblong, fabric lined basket that I immediately put by my paper cutter to hold paper when I got home, a really nice picture frame, and a great deal on fabric. Yes...I did buy some more...it was too good of deal to pass up and I hope to be sewing soon. I popped on out to Susie's and picked her up and we headed to Mauston for my eye doctor appointment. After much discussion, I decided that I would try again to get use to bifocals and we are hoping that this pair will work better than the last ones. We stopped at the other eye doctor's office and I picked out frames and I should have the new glasses in a week and a half. Then we were off to Festival Foods and we did some grocery shopping and then headed home. By the time I got home, I wasn't feeling so hot and after supper, chit chat with Lady Di, and iming with Colleen, I layed down, looked at one of my library books and fell asleep with Molly laying on my shoulder. Mom called at 7 and woke me up which was a good thing so that I am not up all night! I started working on 4 of these cards and some body....that we will leave nameless....but lives in another state....... and could that state be Oregon??????...was begging and wanting to know WHEN she would get to see the quilt card. I told her that I would post it tomorrow as I had already posted today, but I just finished one of the four so thought I would surprise her and post it tonight. I may get rewarded with chocolate for doing this...time will tell! Ha Ha! I absolutely love this card and some lucky person is going to get this one in the mail who has a birthday...but we shall keep that a surprise too! The rose on it is from Fifth Ave Floral. My favorite stamp set at the moment, and uses the textured Parisian Breeze designer papers, top note die, and the chocolate background is textured with the embossing plates. Everything on this card I love...all my favorite things and colors. Let me know what you think! Click on the comments and leave me a note! I am headed to bed as I am NOT feeling good again. Hopefully tomorrow will be better!

Olive Garden Employee Treat Bags

These are some treat bags Jenna and I made while I was in Milwaukee this weekend for her server's at the Olive Garden when she does reviews. We had the kids helping out. Diana had a measuring cup and was measuring out jelly bellies for the bags, and Dustin was counting out pieces of candy for the other bags. The kids love to help out.

Top Note Box Set

I made 3 of these Gift Card Sets last week with the Big Shot and the Top Note Die and the Scalloped envelope die. It holds 12 little gift cards and envelopes. I gave one to Danene as a thank you gift for hosting her party. If you have purchased the Big Shot starter kit, you have the right dies to make this. I took a box pattern off the Stampin' Up website and revamped it to fit in between the two top note dies. The designer paper is Delicate Dots which you can get for free right now when you place a $50.00 order.
