Hello! I am back! I got a tiny nap in, Sue Bartels was here to pick up her stamping order, and I got 3 of this card made. The birthday gals both love Purple, so I thought it would be fun to try out our new "In color". I love how this monochromatic card turned out. I will have a recipe sheet with color photo available for sale on this card for $1.00. This is recipe sheet #2 if you would like to request it. It includes step by step directions to make the above the card, a color photo so you don't need to keep your original card, card stock and ribbon measurements, and item numbers of all supplies used so you will know what to order. Store these sheets in a 3 ring binder, and you will be able to flip through them for immediate inspiration and you will be able to quickly "pop" out a card when you need one! Once your payment is received by check, cash, or paypal, I will email you the file and you can store it on your computer or print it out. Email me at quilter16@frontier.com to get yours now!

Flight of the Butterfly

Hello! Well, I am officially all packed up at the flea market and ready to go for Women's Night Out. Susie and Wayne Smith were so kind to come down and help me get all loaded. They loaded everything so neatly in the van. I am sure after Women's Night Out and we reload it....it will look like a tornado hit in there! LOL Hopefully a lot of it will be gone and we won't have as much to reload!
I came home and did some computer work, then made up a huge pot of hamburger/elk soup. It turned out yummy and I froze 9 large bowls of it, ate one for supper and kept one out in the frig for Lady Di who is coming to pick it up tomorrow after she gets done with quilting.
Before I started making the soup, I wiped out on the kitchen floor. Scraped up my arm. My back and leg were sore but seem to be okay now. I took some Excedrin back and body ache and went down for a nap after I got the soup done. I have been up since 3 and have been trying to work up some ambition to get something else done but so far it ain't happening....lol Jessie was suppose to come after school today to help me again but she has 2 exams, and a big packet of homework to do so I said we can do it another night. Right now we are thinking about Friday night. It will keep up there...out of sight...out of mind!

Flight of the Butterfly

Today Lady Di and I went to the Dells and got my card rack set up at the Hill of Beans Coffee Shop. If you haven't been there, you should stop in. She has lots of neat things in there. It is near the fire station in Lake Delton. You turn right at the light if you are heading south and go towards the Crystal Grand and Walmart. It is on the left hand side of the street. I also put a couple of towels and pillows in there. When we got back to town we had Chinese before heading home. I am listening to the new Martina Mc Bride CD Shine and it is very good. I just finished up a bunch of popsicle card's and started some Circus Circle Cards. I made Key Lime Cheese ball for my sample for tomorrow. I am sure hoping that the rain will hold off till night time.
