Hi, I love your work and I love following your blog. Would you please share how you did the top note layers? I tried hand cutting the smaller one, but it was awful. I would love your advise.
Hi, I love your work and I love following your posts. Could you please let me know how you did the layered top notes on this card. I tried hand cutting the smaller one, but it was terrible! I would love your help. Linda
Thank you so much...you are too sweet! I cut the inside by hand. When I first started cutting them I would cut on the perforated line and it didn't look too hot. What I found to work the best is to use the perforation as a guide but don't cut on it. Cut about an 1/8" inside the perforation. Another trick when cutting is to always try to remember to turn the paper, not the scissors. Your cuts will look much cleaner. Sometimes I forget to do that but when I remember I am much happier with the things I cut out. I am glad that you are enjoying the blog. Keep in touch!
