Special Event at Sparta "Twilight on Water Street"

"Twilight on Water Street"

To our faithful downtown shoppers:

We the Water Street merchants are so excited to tell you about an up-coming event that we know you will just love.

On Thursday, Nov. 6th starting at 5:00 P.M. from 8:00 P.M. you will be able to shop the downtown participating merchants and they will each have specials exclusively for you.

This is how is works?

Purchase a $10.00 ticket, bought in advance and get gifts and goodies all night long at participating shops.

Go to Park Bank from 5:00 P.M. – 6:00 P.M. and pickup your gift bag. This bag will contain a gift for you that is worth $21.98+.

Also in this gift bag will be coupons from many different merchants. This bag will also contain a button.

You must wear this button while shopping to qualify for each merchants special for the evening. ONLY people with these buttons will be able to shop. Each store participating will also be serving you food. Food will vary at each shop. For instance, when you pick up your bag at Park Bank you will be given hot apple cider. Ginny's cupboard will be giving you a sample of one of the newest additions to there menu, a wonderful salad. There are over 12 participating merchants at this time but expect the list to grow. You will get a list in your bag of the participating shops. Each time you go into a store you will have a card that you can asked to have punched. You need not make a purchase to get your card punched. At 8:00 P.M. after a fun 3 hours of shopping on Water Street we will gather at Jake's Northwoods. There you will turn in your punched card for a chance to win a beautiful diamond necklace. You must have at least 6 punches on your card to be eligible. Also at Jakes you will be treated to a wonderful dessert and beverage while enjoying an accessories show with real live models.

This is certainly shaping up to be a fun annual event.

Those of you who partake in this event the first year will be given the chance at purchasing tickets first next year. This year tickets will be limited to the first 150 people. More than half have been sold already with very little advertizing. How can you go wrong with an event of this magnitude for $10.00? It it sure to become the talked about event of the season.

So hurry and get your tickets for this great event soon as they are limited. We’re so thankful to all of you for supporting the merchants of downtown Sparta through troubled/construction times.
