New pictures of Grammies little sweet pea!

Look I am crawling!  I follow my Mom around the house now!

I love the hippo Grammie got me!

I like to slide under the couch, and crawl behind the TV!  In two days I went from sitting still to getting into every thing!  I keep my mom on her toes these days!

Look at me!  One hand!  Pretty soon I will be running around.

I have two teeth on the bottom.  They come in handy when I am chowing down.  I LOVE to eat!

Elmo

Good Evening!  I packed up my supplies and headed over to my Mom and Dad's house this morning.  Mom had some appointments and Sarah and I stayed with Dad.  He is getting around a little bit better and Sarah is going home tonight.  We worked on making these invitations for Mason's 1st birthday party.  We started around 9:30 in the morning and worked steadily on them till 2:30 this afternoon, except for taking a lunch break and some phone calls.  We made 28 of them, and as Sarah said "She (meaning her sister) better use every last one of them!"  LOL

The "Elmo" was made with punches and dies, and the square lattice embossing folder to give the nose some texture.  The party hat and "its a party" I cut out with my Cricut.  They were fun to make and it was nice to be working with Sarah!  I made a trip to Pamida for the babies after I left their...as they were out of kitty litter.  I have spent the last 3 hours on the bed with the lap top, and returned some phone calls, as I am having trouble with my feet swelling so had to get them up.  They feel much better now!  Elaine

You are sweet

I have a free little goody for you today!!  Free is good.  :-D

I found the pattern for this card on the Paper Crafts website and if you would like to make it also, here is the link:  http://www.papercraftsmag.com/articles/Card_Creations_9_Patterns
I thought it was such a cute card and you can make it in whatever flavor you choose!

Another busy day in Mayberry.  In the morning I went to the bank, post office, Practical Cents, Don Smiths, and got my hair cut.  And is it short.  But I asked for a summer haircut and I got one!  Hopefully I will be able to make it look as good tomorrow!  I found 3 boxes of canning jars for Jenna at PC so she was tickled about that, and I found Mason a brand new pair of dress shoes that he can grow in to and a pair of rain boots.  I can just see him stomping around in the puddles!

In the afternoon, Susie was here for a visit, and I made 3 of these cards.  They were fun to make, and I will probably make some more.  I had supper over at Mom and Dad's and Sarah and I played a game a scrabble afterwards.  I just got home around ten o'clock.  Tomorrow, Sarah and I are going to work on Mason's first birthday invitations, so that should be fun!  Elaine

The end of an extremely long weekend

My weekend started on Friday with a few garage sales and a trip to Ron's for a cook out.  Saturday was a busy day at the flea market, then supper at Mom and Dad's with Sarah and Zach.  After supper my dad had an accident in the garage and we spent the rest of the night in the ER.  His cat scan and x-ray turned out fine.  But he slit his knee all the way across it and will be laid up with that for awhile, 8 stitches inside, and 14 on the outside.  Sarah is staying with Mom as it takes two to get him in and out of the chair, and Sarah said I am not strong enough to do it, he is too heavy.  So Zach and I ran the flea market on Sunday which was busier yet.  I was dropped dead tired after that.  We had made plans earlier in the week to go out to the Camps for a cook out.  My sister and her family came Sunday after noon and Bob helped Zach clean up the flea market grounds, while Lenore and Mike were helping Mom at the house.  They stayed and helped Mom so Sarah, Zach, and I could go out to Camps.  I brought Brooke along with me.  We had a nice time visiting with them, and I chilled in the lawn chair with a couple of much needed drinks!!!  Zach went home as he worked today, Sarah stayed and helped Mom with Dad, and I ran the flea market today.  Jim and I got mom's booth restocked for her, Mom came down to do the collecting then returned home.  I was glad to close the doors for the weekend tonight.  The holiday weekends are great but exhausting.  Zach came tonight, and we all had a pizza party in the office by Dad (sitting in the recliner).  They sure have good pizza available at Subway now.  I left after supper, got the trash to the road, then hit the bed with the lap top.  I couldn't keep my eyes open any longer and took an 1 1/2 hour nap.  I decided that you dear readers needed some eye candy, so I made a couple of cards.  I am getting sleepy so I will be headin' to bed!  I hope your 4th was wonderful!  Love, Elaine
