Glittered Snowglobe

Hello!  I am back home in Mayberry.  I arrived late yesterday afternoon.  When I got back to town, I went and set up a table at Curves that will be there all week long with Tastefully Simple and a few craft items.  Stop over there and check it out!

I have been busy putting things away, doing laundry, and have had a lot of people in and out of the house picking up stamping orders.

I made up another Belly band box set today, and have been watching TV and stitching on towels.  I need more towels at the Dells so I am working on that.  Just plug'in along on all the projects that need doing around here.  It feels good to be home, yet I miss the kids and Mason.  I was gone 11 days this last stretch.  It is like going back and forth between two different worlds.  I love being there with them, but have decided that I don't want to move there and I told them that when I was there this time.  It is always good to be back home.  I love my old house, my family and my friends here.  Jen was talking about how much she liked it by Baraboo when she lived there.  If they would end up there some day, that I might consider but as much as I love to visit the city, I am not too keen about living there full time.  Well...better get back to work!  Elaine

Sweet Snowglobe

Happy Thanksgiving Weekend!  I am still in Milwaukee.  The days have just flown.  I uploaded a bunch of pictures before I left home so that I would have things ready for my blog posting, but I find it really hard to get it done here.  It seems like if I am able to keep up with my blog reading and answering email, I am doing good.  But that could be because I play with Mason so much...ha ha.  He is so sweet and adorable, we all seem to gravitate to him, and enjoy making him laugh and smile!  Today we are headed to Clintonville to my sister's house for our family Thanksgiving.  Everyone else is busy getting ready so I have some quiet time to blog.  Not something that is easy to find around here.
This is a card we made at stamping with the stamp set Sweet Snowglobe.  We used the sweet treat cups and snow confetti for a fun look.  Piercing, the scalloped edge punch, new decorative label punch, Tags till Christmas and Teeny Tiny Wishes Stamp sets finish off the cute look.
Have a wonderful weekend!  Me

Happy Thursday!

Hello!  I am so happy that the wind has died down here.  It is so good to have things back to normal.  This is a card that I made up to show my stamping group with the Deck the Halls Designer Series Paper, Sweet Snow globe stamp, and greeting from Bells and Boughs.
This morning Sara and Ciera Ricci were over for a visit, and after they left I cut up all the designer paper from the 2nd designer series paper swap that I am having.  Sixteen packages to cut up.  Whew!  I am glad that is all done. Di and I were talking on the phone most of the time I was doing it so that made the time go faster!  I also got everything packed for tonight.   Now I need to get in the shower and get ready for my stamping class tonight!
